“Let me out!!!!”

Motor mouth

Saturday, March 12th, 2011

This went on for at least 5 minutes, I kept telling her it wasn’t very lady-like. But the giggles ensued and I couldn’t resist. I cannot count how many times she makes me laugh out loud during the day, it is pure joy. Oh, and I know the video quality isn’t so great, we went to Apple today to get the iPhone 4, but the lines were around the block. Hopefully tomorrow the craze has died down and I can upgrade to a better video quality.

Moving pictures, moving baby

Sunday, March 6th, 2011

In 1878 Eadweard Muybridge took the first motion picture of a galloping horse, in Palo Alto. 133 years later we recreated his experiment using a walking baby and an iPhone, rather than that galloping horse and zoopraxiscope.

But first you should crawl before you walk:

Pub Crawling

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

The 3 of us hit our favorite Mill Valley pub for a yummy sandwich and a celebratory beer after the race. We let Page get on the community table to give our arms a break (she doesn’t stop moving). And she started to crawl!!!!! In true Aussie fashion, our Pagie is a pub crawler. Time to baby proof the house…

Mudfest

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

Page and I met Brendan up in the Oakland hills Saturday. It was super muddy after days of rain and freezing! But Brendan did great, finished the 50K race in 3rd place overall. Page and I did a side hike (time to upgrade the baby pack) and finished just as Dad was racing through the finish line. Oh, and his knees hurt a bit, but other than that doing great!

Long Days…Happy Days…

Wednesday, February 9th, 2011

Pagie has been asleep for all of 45 minutes today. Awake at 7AM and its now 9:30PM and she is finally zonked. She is so energetic, so close to crawling and talking, pivoting herself to the corners of the rooms she has never explored. Holy smokes, we are tired… But so happy for the next day. Who knows what tomorrow will bring…

Page needs to work on her OLH time

Friday, February 4th, 2011

Every cyclist in this area knows their best Old La Honda time. Page’s now stands at 27 minutes. She knows she has to push it further into the pain zone next time.

Rancho San Antonio

Sunday, January 9th, 2011

A perfect sunny Sunday for a ten mile hike.

Page was in fine voice.

Happy Holidays!

Friday, December 24th, 2010

What a fun first Christmas for Page. We opened our pressies on OZ time with Grandma and Grandpa Gibson. Lots of great gifts and Page seemed to enjoy ripping open the presents (and eating the wrapping paper). Thank you all for thinking of us, we hope you have a wonderful Holiday. We are hoping to get up to snow so we can use our presents, new skate skis, ski chariot, warm ski clothes for Page to ride in the Chariot while Mum pulls her, and lots more. Lots of Love and Best Wishes for the New Year! xoxo. Alex, Brendan and Page.
