Birthday Girl (and an earthquake)

Page woke up so surprised to see her brand new pedal bike! She loved all her other presents, too… Aussie books, my pretty pony, lots of art supplies and a “four” t-shirt in the tradition of Grandma Anne, and her trampoline. We started off the day taking the new bike for a spin at the just finished primary school (where Page will go next year to start Kindie). She did amazing and was riding by herself after a couple laps. We are still working on stopping and getting off. Sienna tried our her “new” Stryder but it was still a little too big. We went home and got ready for the party. Page’s buddies came by and we did scavenger hunts, trampoline time, dance parties, so much fun.
We all crashed that night but we were awoken at 3:30am by a 6.1 earthquake that was centered in Napa. That was not fun at all, so scary. Let’s hope that was the “big one” for awhile…

Getting’ Close…

We are getting very close to being done with Phase 1! Just a little more mulch and rock work and we are done. It feels great to finally plant our veggies! Its a dream garden come true…
