Trigger Thumb Surgery

July 30th, 2014 by alex

Page was born with a thumb that did not move at the joint. The doctors thought she might out grow it, but it was becoming more and more of an issue for her. She was having trouble drawing and other simple tasks. So we scheduled surgery for her to cut the ligaments and free up her thumb for movement.

She was such a brave girl. No problems at all and now she wears a cast for 5 days while the stitches heal. She can already move her thumb so that brought a big smile to her face this morning!
